MIER College organised programme

JAMMU, Mar 6: The Alumni Committee of MIER College of Education organised a guest lecture on the topic “Techniques of Counselling and Career Information” for the students of B.Ed. Semester IV. The lecture was conducted in alignment with the curriculum of the course Guidance and Counselling (Course Code: BDE-407) to enhance students’ understanding of counselling techniques and career guidance.
The session was delivered by Gagandeep Kour, alumna of MIER College of Education and Lecturer in English at Dogra College of Education, Jammu. She shared valuable professional experiences and practical insights on counselling methods and the importance of career information for students.
The programme began with a welcome and introduction of the resource person by Arpana Koul, Assistant Professor. An interactive discussion followed, where students actively participated and exchanged ideas.
Prof. Adit Gupta, Director and Principal, appreciated the resource person and presented her with a certificate of appreciation. Prof. Nishta Rana, Head SOE and Prof. Monika Bajaj, Head SSSH, felicitated her with a planter. The vote of thanks was delivered by Diksha Sharma, Assistant Professor.
