SAMBA, Mar 11: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba police has seized four dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations (PS) Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police said its teams headed by in charges of Police Posts (PPs) Rakh Amb Talli and Mansar of PS Samba and in charge Police Post (PP) Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas have seized four dumpers bearing Registration Numbers JK21J-9190, JK14D-9133, JK21G-5654, JK21G-7597 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
Police said all the vehicles have been seized and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
