UDHAMPUR, Mar 11: Government Degree College (GDC) Neeli Nallah, Udhampur unveiled the third edition of its college newsletter titled “Neer: The Campus Chronicles”, covering the period from July to December 2025. The newsletter was released under the guidance of the Principal, Prof (Dr) Seema Arora, in the presence of distinguished academicians.
The event was graced by special guests Prof Kuldeep Sharma, Principal GDC Jindrah; Prof (Dr) Pragya Khanna, Principal GDC Hiranagar; Prof (Dr) Rajni Bhagat, Principal GDC Katra and Prof (Dr) Shalini Sharma, Principal GDC Majalta.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries followed by Saraswati Vandana. Dr Sunil Tanoch, Convenor of the Newsletter Committee and Prof Shaista Yasmeen, NSS Programme Officer and Convenor Sports, welcomed the guests and highlighted the significance of the publication.
The July–December 2025 edition of “Neer” features academic initiatives, student achievements, departmental activities, and highlights of cultural, NSS, and literary events. It also showcases outreach programmes, eco-conscious initiatives, and creative contributions by students. Principal Prof (Dr) Seema Arora described the newsletter as a chronicle of the college’s academic progress and student aspirations.
