JAMMU, Mar 12: An alleged drug peddler was arrested with 8.79 grams of heroin-like substance from Miran Sahib area here today, officials said.
Abdul Rashid of Kheri, Bishnah, was arrested with the consignment during naka checking at Prithvipur area near the Ring Road, they said.
He was accordingly booked in case FIR number 42/2026 under sections 8/21/22/60 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation taken up, officials said.
