JAMMU, Mar 12: Security forces busted a terrorist hideout at Badi Behak in Chamrer forest area of Thanamandi in Rajouri district last night and recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
The hideout was unearthed during a search operation by troops of the Romeo Force in the Chamrer forest area of Thanamandi.
Besides a ready-to-use IED, some eatables and clothes were also recovered from the hideout. However, no one was arrested in connection with the recovery, the officials said.
Security forces have intensified patrolling in the area to ensure that there is no presence of the terrorists.
