SRINAGAR, Mar 16: The J&K Ball Badminton Association, in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, will organize the J&K UT Level Ball Badminton Championship for Boys and Girls 2025–26 at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh, Srinagar from March 26 to 28. The three-day tournament, sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, aims to promote Ball Badminton in the Union Territory and provide a competitive platform for young athletes to showcase their talent.
According to the organizers, the championship will be conducted as per the official rules and regulations of the Ball Badminton Federation of India (BBFI) to ensure fair play and high standards of competition. Players from all affiliated Ball Badminton districts, clubs, schools, colleges and institutes across Jammu and Kashmir have been invited to participate in the event.
Interested participants must submit their entries before March 25 through WhatsApp or SMS at 9682365877. Players are required to bring a photocopy of their Aadhaar card along with two passport-size photographs for verification. The organizers have clarified that no on-spot entries will be accepted.
The draw for the matches will take place on March 26 at 11:00 am at the competition venue. A key highlight of the championship will be the selection of outstanding players who will represent Jammu and Kashmir in the upcoming National Ball Badminton Championships.
