JAMMU, Mar 16: International gymnast Shivangi, a trainee of the J&K Sports Council’s Elite Gymnastics Academy, has been crowned All-Round Best Rhythmic Gymnast 2026 at the All-India Level Competition held from March 14–16, representing Panjab University, Chandigarh. She also won a Gold Medal in the Individual Apparatus Final for the Ribbon event.
Adding to the triumph, the Panjab University team clinched the Team Championship, securing another Gold Medal. Shivangi’s exceptional performance highlights her talent, dedication and perseverance in rhythmic gymnastics, bringing immense pride to her academy and institution.
Shivangi credited her coach, Krupali Singh, for her expert guidance, technical training, and constant encouragement, noting that this milestone would not have been possible without her mentorship.
