JAMMU, Mar 17: A meeting of Scheduled Caste Cell of National Conference at village Chou Chack in Bishnah Constituency was organized by Jagga Ram vice president Jammu Province SC Cell where in Vijay Lochan Chairman SC Cell JKNC was the chief guest.
While addressing the workers meeting today, Lochan reaffirmed the party’s dedication to fulfilling its promises, particularly those aimed at marginalized communities. He highlighted several landmark initiatives that have significantly benefited vulnerable sections across the region. He emphasised that the National Conference has always prioritized the welfare and empowerment of the underprivileged, and these measures further solidify the party’s commitment to their upliftment.
Lochan expressed concern over weaker sections not getting rights, rising unemployment and complete lack of avenues. He said that only NC has will and determination to ensure rights and justice to the weaker sections.
Naresh Bittu, District president Jammu Rural-B criticized the Central Government for bringing immense miseries to the people residing in border areas through unfulfilled promises and inaction. He highlighted the Government’s failure to address the needs of border dwellers, particularly the farming community.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included- Rakesh Singh Raka, Jatinder Kumar District president SC Cell, Amit Kumar District president Jammu Rural-B YNC, Dev Raj Block president and Ashwani Kumar Block president SC Cell.
