Two elderly injured in wild boar attack

RAJOURI, Mar 17: Panic gripped ward number 11 of Sub-Division Thanna Mandi after a group of wild boars launched a sudden and violent attack near a residential locality, leaving two elderly persons seriously injured.
According to reports, Syed Mohammad (82) son of Nasir Din and Ghulam Ahmad (65) son of Rajba, were near their homes when the animals emerged unexpectedly and attacked them. Both sustained grievous injuries in the incident.
Locals acted swiftly, rushing to the spot to rescue the injured and shifting them to Sub-Divisional Hospital Thanna Mandi for immediate treatment. Due to the severity of their injuries, both were later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri for advanced care.
