JAMMU: The Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir is set to organise the 37th Kishtwar District Volleyball Championship (Men) from March 22 to 23, 2026, at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kishtwar. The event will be held under the banner of the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
The championship will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Volleyball Federation of India. All volleyball clubs from Kishtwar district have been invited to participate and are required to confirm their entries on or before March 21, 2026. Speaking about the event, Kunal Magotra, Honorary General Secretary of VAJK, emphasized the association’s commitment to promoting volleyball at the grassroots level. He stated that the championship will provide an important platform for local players to showcase their talent and compete in a professional environment.
He further added that the event aims to identify emerging talent, encourage youth participation, and strengthen the sporting culture in the region while promoting healthy competition among players.
