ICF appoints M S Katoch as its Secretary General

JAMMU, Mar 18: The Indian Colleges Forum (ICF), New Delhi, is a prominent national-level organization today appointed M S Katoch, Chairman of Kawa Group of Institutions as its Secretary General.
The Forum is committed to strengthening the higher education ecosystem across India.
The decision in this regard was taken, during the 26th ICF Annual National Level Conference, which was held in collaboration and support of the Kawa Group of Institutions.
The appointment has been made by the president of the Forum, Dr G D Sharma.
Katoch is a distinguished educationist and administrator with vast experience in managing and developing higher education institutions.
As the Chairman of Kawa Group of Institutions, he has played a pivotal role in expanding academic infrastructure, introducing professional courses and ensuring quality education aligned with contemporary standards.
His leadership has been instrumental in positioning the Kawa Group as a reputed name in the region, particularly in the fields of pharmacy, paramedical sciences and teacher education.
His appointment as Secretary General is expected to further strengthen the Forum’s mission of enhancing collaboration among institutions and promoting excellence in higher education across the country.
Further, as per the provision of the Constitution of Indian Colleges Forum (ICF) and decision taken in the meeting of Secretaries of EC of ICF that the head of the institution holding the annual conference of the Indian Colleges Forum (ICF) will also act as General Secretary of ICF for the period of two years.
The Indian Colleges Forum has expressed confidence that under his leadership, the organization will achieve new milestones and contribute significantly to the advancement of the higher education sector in India.
