KISHTWAR, Mar 18: In a tragic road accident here today, one person lost his life while three others were injured when the car they were onboard had head-on collision with a heavy vehicle of Dumper make.
Sources informed that the car of Alto make bearing registration number JK06-7986 directly hit a Dumper with registration number JK20B-6823 coming from the opposite direction at Bonjwar area on Kishtwar-Padder road.
They said that the car with four persons onboard was on way to Kishtwar when it collided with the dumper at Bonjwar.
After the accident, locals and cops shifted the injured to DH Kishtwar where doctors declared Mohd Ashraf, 66, son of Abdul Ahad Wani, resident of Kahra (Doda) as brought dead.
Other three injured were identified as Mudasir Ahmad, 34, son of Ashiq Illahi; Mohd Yaseen, 38 and Nafiz Ahmad, 34, both sons of Mohd Ashraf, all residents of Kahra, Doda. Police has taken cognisance of the incident and started investigations.
