JAMMU, Mar 20: Ricardo Elevators, from the House of LT Elevator Limited — the country’s only elevator company listed on both the BSE and NSE — has marked its entry into Jammu & Kashmir with the inauguration of its 30th Experience Centre at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The facility was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary in the presence of Rajnish Sharma (authorised distributor, TATA Steel), Arun Gupta (president, Chamber of Commerce & Industries), Neeraj Anand (president, Chamber of Trade Federation), Neeraj Hemnani (CEO, Ricardo Elevators), and Avinash Thampy (COO, Ricardo Elevators).
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister described the entry of a publicly listed, investor-backed elevator company into Jammu as a step aligned with the region’s ongoing urban expansion. He said such investments have the potential to strengthen infrastructure and create employment opportunities in the Union Territory.
Ricardo Elevators, backed by more than 100,000 public investors, has completed over 10,000 installations globally across seven countries. The company offers a range of premium home and commercial elevator solutions, incorporating German engineering and Italian design.
The newly opened Experience Centre in Jammu is designed to provide customers with a hands-on understanding of the company’s products, enabling them to see, ride and evaluate elevator systems prior to purchase. The initiative is aimed at addressing concerns related to reliability and service standards that have affected consumer confidence in the region in the past.
CEO Neeraj Hemnani said J&K represents a strategic growth market for the company, adding that Ricardo Elevators plans sustained investment in local infrastructure and workforce development as part of its long-term expansion strategy in the region.
