SRINAGAR, Mar 26: Under the ongoing Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan, a training camp organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was today held at Munawarabad, in Habakadal Constituency of Srinagar.
J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul addressed the Prashikshan camp as the chief speaker.
J&K BJP Spokesperson Manzoor Bhat, district president Srinagar Sheikh Salman, constituency president Muneer Ahmed, district vice-president Srinagar Dr Ashok Koul, and district president Mahila Morcha Srinagar Sumira Mir were also present on the occasion.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the camp, emphasized that such training programmes are vital for the ideological strengthening of party cadre and for equipping them with the skills necessary to effectively serve society.
He stated that BJP workers are not merely political activists but dedicated patriots committed to the welfare of every section of society.
Koul elaborated the philosophy of Deendayal Upadhyaya, ‘Antyodaya’ which means upliftment of the last person in the queue.
He said that this principle forms the core of BJP’s governance and organizational approach, ensuring that the benefits of development reach the most marginalized and needy individuals.
“Antyodaya promotes inclusive growth, social harmony and economic justice, which are crucial for building a strong and self-reliant India,” he added.
Koul further stated that BJP envisions an India free from poverty, corruption, and social evils by 2047, coinciding with the centenary of independence.
“This vision can only be realized through the dedicated efforts of well-trained and committed party activists who work tirelessly at the grassroots level,” he asserted.
