JAMMU: Nukkad Natak/Street plays were staged by nursing students of various nursing institutes in front of OPD and New Maternity (designated COVID) Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
They also performed Nukkad Natak in Gole Market and adjoining areas. Stephens College of Nursing, Bee Enn College of Nursing, Government College for Nursing Gandhi Nagar Jammu, BNNI and Galaxy College for Nursing participated in the programme.
The awareness campaign was initiated on November 26 and continued on Monday with exhibition of IEC Material, counselling of visitors and awareness about HIV & AIDS. IEC Material were given by JKACS & SPYM (Mashwara), Jammu.

The tutors of participating Nursing Colleges and staff of MCH Hospital Gandhi Nagar also supervised the street plays.
This World AIDS Day Campaign is being organized by Project Director JKACS Dr Sameer Mattoo in collaboration with Govt Medical College Jammu headed by Prof (Dr) Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal/Dean GMC Jammu at Maternity Hospital Gandhi Nagar.
