JAMMU: The Inter-Collegiate Basketball and Kho-Kho (M&W) Tournament 2021-22 being organized Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu commenced on Monday at campus ground.
Various colleges affiliated with the University of Jammu are participating in the tournament.
Today’s results:
WOMEN: GCW Parade beat GDC Kunjwani by 24-04 score; and PG Department beat GCW Udhampur by 26-04 score.
MEN: GDC Kathua beat MIET Jammu by 32-14 points.
Today’s matches were officiated by Ranbir Singh, Shubham Sharma, Shubham Bhardwaj, Vishal Sharma and Vishal.
KHO-KHO: WOMEN: PG Department beat GDC Basohli by 7 points; GCW Parade beat GDC R S Pura by 3 points; GDC Bhaderwah beat GDC Reasi by 6 points; GDC Marh beat Dogra Degree College by 7 points; GCW Udhampur beat GDC Mishriwala by 7 points; GDC Chenani beat GMC Rajouri by 8 points; GDC Hiranagar beat GDC Khour by 8 points; GDC Kunjwani beat GDC Mendhar by 6 points; and GDC Bhaderwah beat GDC Ramnagar by 10 points.
MEN: GDC Reasi beat GDC Billawar by 10 points; and GDC Rajouri beat GDC Mendhar by 4 points.
Kho-Kho matches were officiated by the technical panel of experts including Anil Sharma, Ajay Gupta, Dheeraj Sharma, Amninder Pal Singh, Raman Kalaria, Pablinter Singh, Pooja Sharma, Surbhi Anthal, Jagdev Singh and Anil Kumar.
