STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: The Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib, on Tuesday inaugurated ‘MUMKIN’ Scheme at District Employment & Counselling Centre Udhampur to facilitate the youth to establish a sustainable livelihood line in transport sector by providing financial assistance for purchase of new small commercial vehicles. Assistant Director Employment Udhampur (Nodal Officer), Pradyot Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma (Cluster Head J&K Bank) were among several other officers who attended the inaugural ceremony. Earlier, the District Level implementing Committee (DLIC) approved 30 cases under the “WHAM” Scheme on July 1, 2021. Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib handed over the keys to 10 beneficiaries out of which four beneficiaries availed small commercial vehicle of Ashokya Leyland and six beneficiaries availed small commercial vehicles of TATA. RAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam on Tuesday handed over keys of subsidized small commercial vehicles to 4 young beneficiaries of the district under the youth livelihood programme ‘Mumkin’, here. Chief Planning Officer, Kasturi Lal; District Panchayat Officer, Sunil Bhutyal; Assistant Director, District Employment & Counselling Centre, Naresh Kumar; Assistant Labour Commissioner, Angrez Singh; District Social Welfare Officer, Waheed-Ur-Rehman; Designated Nodal Officer, JKEDI, Yashpal and various senior officers also present on the occasion. KATHUA: Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Rahul Yadav on Tuesday handed over the keys of commercial vehicles to the beneficiaries of MUMKIN Scheme during a brief ceremony held here at DC Office complex. Earlier, Assistant Director Employment & Counselling Centre, Naresh Kumar gave details of the progress made as on date under the scheme. GM DIC Kathua, Chief Planning Officer Kathua, ARTO Kathua, Cluster Head J&K bank Kathua were present on the occasion. RAJOURI: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan launched the youth livelihood programme ‘Mumkin’ by giving away keys of subsidized small commercial vehicles to 41 young selected beneficiaries. Among the others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Pawan Kumar; LDM JK Bank, Jyoti Prakash; ARTO, Shami Kumar Sharma; Employment Officer, Mohd Aslam and youth from different areas of the district attended the launching event. DODA: Three commercial Vehicles under MUMKIN Scheme were provided to MUMKIN scheme beneficiaries here at a simple function organised here at Conference Hall of DC office Complex. Three selected applicants namely Shafaitullah of Thathri ; Nasir Ahmed of Parmar Doda and Tanveer Ahmed of Malwana Gundna were handed over the keys of the vehicles and other documents. KISHTWAR: Three selected applicants were on Tuesday provided keys of commercial vehicles here at New DC office Complex Mini secretariat Kishtwar by Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma. Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal; District Nodal Officer (AD Employment), Anoop Kumar, besides officials of the Ashoka Leyland company were present at the distribution event. The beneficiaries Irshad Ahmad of Mughal Maidan; Almina Begum of Lower Lonepora Ktr and Mohammad Ashraf of Kuntwara were given the keys, opted vehicles and other documents. SAMBA: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta handed over keys and documents of 12 mini commercial vehicles to the beneficiaries under Mumkin- a Scheme for youth. Chief Planning Officer, Sukhleen Kour; Assistant Director Employment, Suklashna Thakur; Cluster Head JK Bank, Arun Puri; besides officials from Ashok Leyland, Tata vehicles showroom and beneficiaries were also present on the occasion. Keys were handed over to 12 beneficiaries in first phase of this scheme involving government subsidy of Rs.8.79 lakh and loan amount of Rs.70.32 lakh through various branches of J&K Bank. REASI: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh launched Mission youth livelihood program “MUMKIN” by giving away keys of subsidized small commercial Vehicles to four young beneficiaries. Jamal Din of Dharmari; Farooq Ahmed of Mahore, Mohammad Saleem of Dera Baba and Mohammad Rafiq of Mahore were provided the vehicles along with registration and other documents in presence of ADDC, Jyoti Slathia; CPO, Sunita Kanchan; ACR Sanjay Badyal, ACD Anirudh Rai ,CAO, CHO, bank representatives and other concerned officers and officials. The DC informed that the selection committee had selected 70 candidates out of 89 applicants under the MUMKIN scheme of Mission Youth through draw of lots. He said that this process will continue further and more youth will be motivated to avail the benefits. POONCH: An simple but impressive function was organized by District administration Poonch here at Dak Bunglow where District Development Commissioner, Inder Jeet launched Mumkin Scheme under Mission Youth and provided Commercial vehicles (Four tyre Autos) to 8 unemployed Youth of Poonch District. The DC said that Lt. Governor J&K, Manoj Sinha recently launched the youth livelihood programme ‘Mumkin’ in which the J & K government is working with its vision and strategy for engaging and channelizing the youth of J&K through systematic Livelihood Generation programmes. It was informed that the District Administration Poonch received 250 applications of which 70 beneficiaries were approved in the first phase.
