KL Rahul struggled in the first unofficial Test against New Zealand A, scoring only four runs in two innings. In the first innings, he was dismissed for a duck after edging a catch to the wicketkeeper. His second innings ended in a bizarre hit-wicket dismissal as he accidentally struck the stumps with his bat. Rahul’s two failures contributed to India A’s batting collapse in the match.
