STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Psychological Counselling Cell in collaboration with NSS and NCC units of GGM Science College, Jammu is organizing a three days online webinar series cum workshop with the theme “Stop Stress Before It Stops You” under the patronage of Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo. The webinar was inaugurated yesterday where Dr Shakha Sharma, Coordinator Psychological Counselling Cell elaborated the schedule and content to be covered in this webinar series cum workshop. Wednesday was the second day of the webinar and Dr Deepali Mahajan,NSS PO welcomed the Resource person, students and faculties from different schools and colleges of J&K UT. The resource person Dr. R.J. Kalpana, Founder Director, Athena Consultancy, Founder Pen and Ink Solutions, Entrepreneur and Heartfulness Meditation Trainer, Tamil Naidu in continuation with yesterday’s Guided Relaxation emphasized on Guided Cleaning, wherein she spoke at length about the ways to detox mind and Soul. She urged everyone to adopt the mantra of happy soul-happy mind-happy you. A video explaining ways to detox our contaminated, polluted soul from ‘toxic weeds’ like anger, bitternes and envy was also played, followed by a 30 minutes live meditation session where more than 100 participants experienced inner divine light and tried to imbibe the habit of connecting with their soul to increase productivity. Dr. Ravender Tickoo appreciated the efforts being put by all the coordinators and advised the participants to practice and imbibe these relaxation techniques as integral part of their life. Dr. (Capt.) Anjana Sharma ANO presented the vote of thanks along with hosting the question answer session.
