AKHNOOR: With the aim of saving many valuable lives and help them to survive the harshness of nature, Govt. Degree College Akhnoor under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav organised winter clothing donation drive on Saturday under the patronage Dr. Namarta, Principal of the College and Supervision of Dr. Sanjay Kapoor (Assistant Professor in Chemistry ), NSS Programme Officer.
The motive behind this drive was to bring whole community together to help poor people. In the event many NSS volunteers of the College actively participated and donated blankets, cold warm clothes Jackets, scarves, shawls, socks and even shoes to the poor people.
The donation brought a change filled with hope and happiness to the lives of the needy. The event was organised with all Covid-19 protocols and maintaining social distance and mask wearing.
