Jan Jagran Abhiyan: DCC Rural takes out massive protest rally

JAMMU: District Congress Committee Jammu Rural activists led by Hari Singh Chib and Uday Bhanu Chib, President Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress Committee staged a protest against the government for failure to control unabated hike in the prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas and other daily use items.
The rally carried out under Jan Jagaran Abhiyan as per directions of Rahul Gandhi which commenced from Ward No: 60 and concluded in Ward No: 66. Prominent among others who participated in the protest rally were former Vice Chairman Kissan Board Kuldeep Verma and a large number of members of District Congress Committee and Block Committee Raipur Domana.
Addressing the rally JKPYCC President Udhay Bhanu Chib said today’s rally is part of the 15-day campaign against price rise under Jan Jagaran Abhiyan that commenced on November 14.
President District Congress Committee (DCC) Jammu Rural, Hari Singh Chib said that it is an irony that the BJP government at the Centre is still unmoved and continues to be in deep slumber least bothering about the miseries being faced by the people across the nation. He said the people are going to teach the BJP a lesson in the coming elections.
Other dignitaries who participated in the rally were Sunny Choudhary Assembly Youth Congress President Raipur Domana Som Nath Sharma, Prem Singh Chib, Dr Raj Pal Hans, Om Parkash President Guru Ravi Dass, Dr Chander Mohan, Dev Raj, Balbir Singh Manhas (Kaku), Ajmer Singh, Pammi, Jaswant Singh, Dayal Singh, Bitu Chib, Sat Chib, Virender Mehta, Tarun Vaid, Aju Rakwal, Kamal Singh Chib, Kamal Singh Manhas, Parshotam Kumar, Parshotam Singh Neeta Chib, Bachan Singh Kalli, Gulshan Kumar, Harjeet Singh and Kalu.
