SAMBA: After assuming the charge, SSP Samba Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, chaired a general crime and security scenario review meeting with all Police Supervisory Officers, SHOs, Incharge PPs and Incharge Border Police Posts at Conference Hall DPO Samba.
At the outset of meeting, one to one interaction with all the jurisdictional officers was held by the newly joined SSP Samba. Thereafter discussion was carried out on various issues of public interest, general crime position and current security scenario in the respective jurisdiction of territorial officers present in the meeting. The chairing officer asked the participant officers to remain extra vigilant to avert any untoward incident in their area of responsibility. The participants were directed to put an effective curbs on bovine smuggling activities and effective efforts be made to eradicate the social evil of drug menace from the society. During the meeting, SSP Samba urged upon all the police officers to strengthen security grid in their respective areas, gear up the investigation process and achieve maximum disposal in the remaining days of the year. All the territorial officers were asked to remain firm in duty but be polite with general public and redress their grievances in a time bound manner.
