SAMBA: District Administration Samba on Monday conducted a series of activities to mark the first day of Good governance week.
The government offices organized awareness camps, online grievances redress, public service delivery camps and other activities.
The Departments including Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, Revenue, social welfare, Motor vehicle department, Agriculture, Rural Development, Labour department, AD Employment besides other departments took active part in the Good governance week inaugural day.
Awareness camps on government schemes, Counselling sessions for unemployed youth, distribution of marriage certificates, income certificates, category certificates, e-shram cards, plantation drives, Panchayat sabhas formed the main events.
For public grievances redress, the departments held online as well as offline camps and attained 100% disposal. A total of 17 grievances were addressed on the day, while 145 public services were provided to the locals, informed the nodal officer.
