STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: To address grievances of employees, two awareness camps were organised by Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu at Chenab Textile Mill and Amrit ETT College, Hatli Morh, Kathua regarding implementation of EPF and MP Act, 1952 and e-nomination. Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, Regional Office J&K and Ladakh, Rizwan-ud-Din attended the camps along with a number of officials. Sood and Parveen Tyagi from Chenab Textile Mills also participated in the programme. Speaking on the occasion, Rizwan-ud-Din focused on pension scheme, EPS-95 & Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance, EDLI and also replied to various queries of employees. He further instructed and advised employers that they should remit PF contribution along with statutory dues immediately failing which legal action will be initiated against them. During the programme, the employers and employees highlighted various grievances which were redressed on the spot. Assistant Labour Commissioner Kathua Brijnesh Kumari was also present on the occasion and urged workers to come forward and enroll themselves with the schemes such as EPF, e-nomination, e-SHRAM and PM-SYM and avail the various types of benefits. Ashfaq Mohd, President of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sang Union Kathua was also present on the occasion.
