Shopian: A 17-year-old old allegedly committed suicide by jumping into Aharbal waterfall in Kulgam district on Friday afternoon.
As per details, a girl (name withheld) from Saidpora village of Shopian came near Aharbal waterfall and within a moment jumped into it. Rescuers immediately swung into action but couldn’t save her life. Her body was retrieved and handed over to family after completing all legal formalities. Police has taken cognizance of incident and started investigation.
