Srinagar: A man drowned in Kiti Koul of Kani Kadal area of Srinagar on Friday, while efforts are on to trace him, sources said.
As per the details, a man identified as Feroz Ahmad Raina alias Kuka, resident of Zamindar Mohalla, Habba Kadal who was washing his shoes at Koul slipped and drowned into it. Locals present on the occasion said that they also jumped into the water to rescue him, but failed. However, efforts are on to trace the body when report was last filed.
