JAMMU: Coordination Committee of Estates Employees Union Jammu on Friday held a meeting under the Chairmanship of Yash Paul Sharma, Chief Coordinator of Co-ordination Committee of J&K Estates Department Employees Unions to discuss demands of general employees of Estates Department.
Their demands include holding of DPC of all category employees working in the Estates Department particularly helpers, regularizations of services of daily rated workers whom the cases are pending with the higher authorities for approval, re-organizations of Estates Department, transfer of staff from the Direction office of Estates Department who are sleeping over the establishment and employees files from the years together and constructions of staff quarters/repair/renovation of staff quarters those are under their possession.
All demands of the employees were discussed and all members of the union in one voice given their consent to launch agitation path as the higher authorities of the Department given only assurance instead of mitigation of genuine demands of the employees.
they decided to hold two days protest on August 9 and 10, 2021 to highlight demand of the employees, if the demands are not considered in time the employees may go on continue strike.
Those who participated the meeting include Jeet Raj, President, Subash Chander, Chairman, Rajesh Kumar, Secretary, Hardeep Singh, Senior Vice President, Ravi Kumar, Office Secretary, Kuldeep Raj, President of Daily Wagers, Kewal Krishan, Ram Chand, Yash Paul Yogi, Baljit Singh and Rajinder Singh Members and Vice Chairman.
