Jammu: Two passengers were killed and 14 injured, when a bus they were travelling in met with an accident in Rajouri district on Thursday, officials said.
As per the details , bus (JKO2AE-3393) on way from Rajouri to Gambir Mughala met with the accident near Kakora mode, resulting in on the spot death of two persons and injuries to several others passengers.
The injured were shifted to hospital in at least five ambulances rushed to the spot by authorities soon after getting information.
The deceased have been identified as Ruksana Kouser, daughter of Mohd Ishaq, resident of Palma Chowkian and Sharaz Ahmed, son of Mandi, resident of Galhutti while the injured were Mohin Khan, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Manjakote; Mohd Din, son of Noor Din, resident of Ghambir Mughlan; Amir Hamid, son of Shabir Ahmed, resident of Galhutti; Aftab Ahmed, son of Mohd Hussein, resident of Ghambir Mughlan; Nazira Begum, wife of Mohd Hussain, resident of Ghambir Mughlan; Shabina Akhtar, wife of Mohd Shabir, resident of Galhutti; Hamida Begum, wife of Mohd Nazir, resident of Ghambir Mughlan and Mohd Din, son of Mir Mohd, resident of Galhutti.
