The United States remembered Jan 6, 2021 insurrection on its first anniversary with dire warnings from many quarters about the future of the country and frontal attack by President Joe Biden on his predecessor Donald Trump, accusing him of subverting democracy by creating a web of lies around an election he conclusively lost.
