STATE TIMES NEWS KATHUA: Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP Vice President and Incharge Kathua district asked party cadre to garner people’s support by highlighting achievements of BJP government to ensure emphatic victory of the party in the upcoming Assembly polls. Sethi said this during the second day of his four-day visit to the District wherein large numbers of party workers were present. Kashmira Singh, Co-incharge Kathua district and Gopal Mahajan, District President BJP Kathua also accompanied him. The BJP Vice President J&K also held separate meetings with former MLA, BDC Members, DDC Kathua Members and listened to their issues. He also chalked out a strategy to strengthen the party base in the district through long discussions with local leadership. He said that BJP is not merely a party but a movement having public service as its first priority and everything else comes later. He asked the party cadre to remain united and rely on BJP’s prolific policies which have satiated people’s aspirations to a large extent and sooner the rest of the demands will also be fulfilled but for this public’s support in polls is a must. Sethi also discussed various issues with Dr Jitendra Singh, MP Kathua telephonically. He said that BJP has discipline as its strongest virtue and this will help the party to ensure a glorious win in the polls which are likely to be held after the delimitation exercise. He said that the success of BJP in most of the states and UTs was due to the welfare policies initiated by its government and the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi among the masses. He said both these factors will play crucial roles in the polls but for gaining maximum out of this the workers will have to work on ground to dispel the misinformation campaign launched by the opponents and dispense information about the party’s good work done in the last many years.
