JAMMU: Wushu Association of Jammu and Kashmir today completed the selection process to send the best stuff for the upcoming trials for the twin international events at Khelo India Wushu Centre, Meerut in UP.
In total, five men and three women selected from and among the senior players for the National selection trials.
Selected players: Men: 52 kg: Goutam Sharma (Jammu). 56 Kg: Uzair Basheer (Srinagar).65 Kg: Ishant Singh (Samba). 70 kg: Owais Ahmed (Srinagar). 75 Kg: Tanshiv Raina (Jammu). Women: 56 Kg: Falak Shabir. 60 kg: Sahir Tariq. 65 kg: Riya Chib.
Meanwhile, all the participating players in the selection trials pose for ‘Victory Punch’ to boost India at the Tokyo Olympic.
