Jammu: 73rd Republic Day was celebrated which great joy and enthusiasm in JK Public School Kunjwani.
Shashi Chaudhary, Director JK educational Society unfurled the National Flag in presence of school staff and students.
A short but invigorating cultural programme was presented by the staff and students.
School Head Boy Aayush Singh and Head Girl Prableen Kaur expressed their views and paid homage to the brave hearts who had laid their lives for the nation.
Rashmi Arora created an aura of melody with her sweet voice.
Shashi Rattan, the Vice Principal of the School, brought some warmth to the cold January morning with her vigorous recitation of Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s Poem “Hey Bharat ke Ram Jago”.
On this momentous occasion, Safaikaramcharis of the school were felicitated and honoured by the Director Shashi Chaudhary appreciating their hard work and dedication. Ms Chaudhary in her speech, stressed upon the rights granted to every citizen of India by the Constitution and the corresponding duties. The programme ended with tea and refreshment for all.
