HIRANAGAR: After a long period of 30 years, bus service on the border roads is going to be start again on Wednesday at 7:30 AM. The service was halted around 30 years back causing huge inconvenience to the people residing near border regions.
After a month long efforts from DDC Hiranagar Abhinandan Sharma and meetings with SRTC Managing Director Angrez Singh Rana it has been resumed again which will benefit all the people of the region which earlier had to travel to NH 44 first and then to Jammu causing loss of valueable time and money.
Route for the bus service will start from Nagri – Kot Punnu – Haria Chak – Sanji More – Chakra – Sherpur Maya – Jammu. Government and private employees, students who commute daily to Jammu and patients going for treatment will get benefitted from this.
