BISHNAH: A meeting of general body of All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha was held today on Sunday at Kabir Bhawan Chak-Avtara Bishnah. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the general body elections of the Sabha & arrangements for the Murti-sthapana of Sant kabir on February 13, 2022 at Kabir Bhawan Bishnah. Besides the issue of necessary amendments in the constitution of the Sabha was also discussed at length as some of its provisions presently are in-effective and outdated with the passage of the time. F.C Bhagat, President of the Sabha welcomed the participants and put forth the agenda for deliberations and after thorough discussion it was decided that an election committee shall be formed soon who shall initiated the process for fresh elections in a democratic manner. Besides the statue of Sadguru Kabir Sahib is also going to be installed at the Kabir Bhawan Bishnah on February 13, 2022. A procession in the form of a jhanki carrying the statue of Kabir Sahib shall be started from Bari-Brahmna Chowk at 11 am on feb, 13,2022 and shall culminate at the Kabir Bhawan, Chak-Avtara. Other issues were also discussed in the meeting regarding the completion of the building and starting of the coaching classes at the Kabir bhawan at an earliest so as to give a support to the deserving students who cannot afford high fees at the private institutions. Prominent personalities of the sabha who give their viewpoints on the occasion were Sh G R Bhagat, IAS Retd, Sr Vice- president of the Sabha, O.P Bhagat, Manohar Lal General secretary, Tirth Ram Distt President Kabir sabha district Samba, Dr Gurdass Bhagat chairman litigation committee, Bodh Raj Ex.engg, Surinder Bhagat President Distt Reasi, Ashwani Kumar Block President, Sunil Chagathia.
