JAMMU: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has approved the appointments in the SC Department of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee to strengthen the organization at various levels.
The AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal with the consent of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, National Coordinator Departments K. Raju, Rajesh Lilothia, Chairman SC Dept AICC, PCC President Ghulam Ahmed Mir and Chairman Pradesh SC Dept. Karan Bhagat, has approved these appointments with immediate effect.
Jagdish Bhagat, Capt.(Retd.) Mulkh Raj, Om Prakash Bhagat, Geetan Singh, Dr. Raj Paul Hans, Ram Pal and Babu Ram have been nominated as Vice Chairman; Vinay Bushan, Pankaj Bhagat, Kewal Krishan Jogi, Sunil Thappa and Pawan Bhagat as General Secretaries/Coordinators; Ashok Kumar, Baldev Raj, Dev Raj, Parshotam Lal, Vijay Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Jagdish Raj, Sansar Chand, Mohan Singh and Sub. Karam Chand as Secretaries/Conveners; Lalita Rai as Coordinator Mahila Wing; Adv. Khiladi Lal Goran as Coordinator Legal Cell; Dewan Chand as District Chairman for Jammu (Urban); Vinod Kumar for Samba; Yog Raj for Kathua; Shamsher Chand for Rajouri and Jai Ram Bhagat for Ramban.
