Religion vs Spirituality

The power of religion lies in its ability to serve as a substitute for Spirituality and thus hinders mankind from pursuing the genuine answer to his dilemma. This is why most of our national and international problems are the result of either poor governance or religious extremism. Any government or kingdom that is of this fallen world, will reflect the character and values of this world unless they are God-fearing and God-loving. So, there will be sin, greed, envy, pride, and every mischief known to man as long as the ungodly system prevails. The question is Why power is the pursuit of all mankind? Why religion cannot solve our problems?
All of the past ideologies have failed, humanism, communism, totalitarianism, fascism, socialism, and even democracy. When religion collapse, human philosophies fail and life is crashing down around us. Rediscovering the kingdom of God is our salvation. The weakness of religion will be exposed as you tap into a spiritual reality that will rearrange your thinking and empower life in these turbulent times. In the bible, you will rediscover the kingdom of God that was meant for all mankind. Here on earth, Some governments are better than others, but all are inferior to God’s government. So, Jesus said “……Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
After the fall of the first man, the re-establishment of the Kingdom of God here on earth was necessary. The message of the Lord Jesus was not on religion but on relationships in His Kingdom. From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17) Repent means changing your mind because the kingdom of God has arrived. Therefore, we must understand the concept of a kingdom and its King and how they function. The concept of the Kingdom comes from no one other than the King Himself, but the concept of the Kingdom in its original, pure sense has been lost in our modern world mostly because of religion.
Religion is defined as the adherence to a set of beliefs that regulate the moral, social, and ritualistic behavior of the individual. This definition could include atheist, secular, communist, socialist, humanistic, agnostic, and yes even political and religious organizations. They all adhere to a code of beliefs, acceptable behaviors, systems, and traditions (or habits). Where did all of these “religions” come from? Out of the mind of mankind.
