More than 43 hours after being trapped in a crevice at Kurumpachi hill at Malampuzha in Kerala’s Palakkad, a mountaineering unit of the Indian Army rescued a 23-year-old trekker from the hill. He will be airlifted soon. He got trapped in the crevice on Monday at around 11am and has been waiting for rescue personnel to winch him out since then without food and water.
