Awareness-cum-interaction programme held on DILRMP, SVAMITVA scheme

JAMMU: Regional Director Survey & Land Records Jammu, Bhawani Rakwal, on Thursday chaired an awareness-cum-interaction programme organised on Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) and Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas (SVAMITVA) scheme.
The meeting as a part of commemorating 75 years of India’s Independent ‘Azadi Ka Amrot Mohatsav’ was held at Revenue Training Institute, Gole Gujral, here.
speaking on the occasion, Bhawani Rakwal made the participants familiar with the benefits of scanning and digitization of revenue record, providing services through Single window, Survey/Re Survey of land with the help of latest technology, National Generic Document Registration System, SVAMITVA, and Unique Parcel Identification number.
He informed the participants that with the intervention of new technology preparation, maintenance of the record and public service delivery of land records become more transparent error free public friendly and easy to access.
Assistant Settlement Officer (Sub Registrar Jammu South-II) Khalid Wafa has given full description of process of online Registration (NGDRS) and benefits of Unique Parcel Identification number.
Monica Thapa, Tehsildar RD Office has thrown light on process of scanning and digitization of land record and thereof benefits.
Local farmers and office staffs including NaibTehsildrs, GQs and Patwaris and others participated in the awareness programme.
