JAMMU: District Rajouri Volleyball Association shall hold maiden Volleyball tournament at Bakori Kandi, the remote and far flung area of the district.
This was stated by Incharge District Rajouri Volleyball Association, Mohd Tariq during an interaction with the locals and sports enthusiasts.
Tariq, who is a qualified coach, witnessed the game of the local volleyball clubs and appreciated the zeal and enthusiasm for the game among the young men and women.
“This was first such visit by any member of the district association to Bakori. Young men from our villages need support and competition to groom and excel in the game of Volleyball,” said Sarpanch, Balwant Singh Jamwal.
Among others present were Munir Mirza (Sarpanch), Surjeet Singh Jamwal (social activist and Sajaad Majid (member Volleyball Association Rajouri).
