JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani has done extremely well with 14 students scoring marks above 95 per cent and 43 scoring above 90 per cent in the Class XII results declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education on Friday.
In the school, Ammenia Bellum emerged as the topper with 97.40 per cent followed by Aditya Sharma and Priyanshi, each scoring 97.20 per cent.
Principal, Vandana Sharma congratulated the students and their parents for this achievement. She was highly appreciative of her staff who despite all odds, mentored and guided their students in the best possible way.
“They go that extra mile to help and guide the students during the difficult period of pandemic. It is a happy reward for all,” the principal said.
It is pertinent to mention here that after much deliberations, CBSE on Friday declared Class XII results which was based on so many parameters. “In the absence of common term-end examination, it was difficult task to find the ways for tabulation of results that would be fair, equitable and applicable to all. But, kudos to CBSE for formulating such measures under which result could be calculated and finally, same is now announced,” the principal said.
