NEW MODUS OPERANDI

It seems that Pakistan has changed its strategy to export terror through the use of drones and that can be the reason behind the rogue nation’s decision to stop unprovoked firing which it used to do for infiltration and carrying out smuggling of arms and ammunition besides narcotics. As the borders along Pakistan are experiencing unprecedented lull as there is no more firing or mortar shelling being reported from anywhere along LoC or IB, the drone activity from across the border is on rise with enemy UAVs coming inside Indian territory very often and at times dropping arms and ammunition, and even narcotics to continue with the nefarious designs to dent the interests of the country. In this context, security forces spotted drones in R S Pura and Arnia areas which returned to Pak territory after firing from Indian side. It was suspected that the drones have dropped illegal consignments inside the Indian territory and reportedly searches were conducted in the areas where the flying objects were spotted. Hours later, police has recovered three remote controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), six grenades and a pistol besides other ammunition in Treva Village in Arnia falling under R S Pura Sector thus vindicating the stand of security forces that the drones might have dropped illegal consignment. Reportedly, Border Security Force (BSF) had fired at ‘drone’ along the International Border in R S Pura and Arnia sectors of Jammu district. With the recovery of huge consignment of arms and explosives, a major terror plot has been averted by the alert troops. It has become sure that the Pakistan has adopted a totally new modus operandi to give shape to its nefarious designs as earlier the rogue nation has to spend a lot of money and resources to export terror which after procuring drones from China and some other countries has become so economical that it is sending the flying objects quite often giving a tough time to Indian security forces as detecting and neutralizing drones is a difficult job because still the borders are not equipped with technical support to identify and target the movement of these flying machines.
