Stage is set for the first phase of the Manipur assembly polls for 38 seats in five electoral districts of Imphal West, Imphal East, Bishnupur, Kangpokpi, and Churachandpur. A total of 173 candidates are in the fray for the poll scheduled for Monday. The polling began at 7am and will conclude at 4pm on Monday.
