AKHNOOR: India celebrates “National Science Day” to commemorate the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ discovered by Indian Physicist Sir C.V Raman for which he was awarded Nobel Prize in 1930. Army organised a lecture for the youth of Border Areas of Akhnoor at Village Sainth. The aim of the lecture was to educate growing minds about the importance of science used in the daily life and to discuss all the issues and implement new technologies for the development in the field of science. The dedicated effort of the Indian Army have been well appreciated and got overwhelming support from the Youth. Parents also expressed their gratitude towards Indian Army for its endeavour in the field of education.
