KATHUA: Induction Day 2022 was held in GMC Kathua for newly admitted students to pursue MBBS Course 2022.
Dr. Anjali Nadir Bhat, Principal, GMCK & Hospital was the Chief Guest.
The Induction Ceremony was marked by White Coat ceremony conducted by Dr Sujata Gupta, Assistant Professor Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Stethoscope adoring ceremony was performed by Dr Mrinal Gupta Assistant Professor Dept of Biochemistry followed by the Charak Shapath recited by Dr Meenakshi, Assistant Professor Dept of Physiology and cadaveric oath was administered to students by Dr Tarsem Kumar, Assistant Professor Dept of Anatomy. It was organized under supervision and guidance of by Dr Sabita Yograj Co-ordinator of the MEU and managed by Dr Shomalla Jan Demonstrator Dept of anatomy. Dr Sabita Yograj, while welcoming the new students, apprised them of the new curriculum and advised them to adhere to the norms governing the implementation of curriculum as well as the examination. While addressing the students, she laid stress on clinical exposure and small group teaching as the key factor in the new changed curriculum.
The function ended with a vote of thanks by Dr Sabita Yograj Prof. & Head physiology and MEU Coordinator.
