House damaged due to heavy rain

Mendhar: The roof of a house in Naka Manjari village of Mendhar collapsed partially following heavy rains on Saturday.
Atfaq Ahmed, son of Ghulam Sarver Khan suffered heavy damages to his house after the roof partially caved in due to heavy monsoonal rains. Locals have sought help from the administration and requested for funds to rebuild the damaged house.
“Incessant heavy rainfall has damaged people’s houses, property and roads.
The government must compensate the victims,” said a local. “Our corn crops have been damaged due to heavy rains. We have lost all our hard work and savings. The government must help us”, said a farmer who suffered losses to his crops due to the rain.
