The age of students studying in colleges is tender and this is the stage in life when the impact of others can sway youngsters to unnecessary things. The same is presently seen in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir where certain organizations are misleading the students by involving them in protests seeking online examinations for the undergraduate courses. The logic behind this demand is unfounded because holding online exams when the situation with regard to coronavirus is perfectly alright is not at all justified and the organizations which are swaying the students only want to play politics by misguiding the young minds who think that by indulging in exam malpractices they will get some benefit in reality the sanctity of exams can only be maintained when the same are taken inside the examination halls with invigilators monitoring the whole process. In this context, activists of a particular student organization have disrupted college work in the name of protests and demonstrations in GDC Samba, GDC Hiranagar and GDC Kathua seeking online exams, a demand which is highly irrational and should not be allowed because the intention behind this demand is giving undue benefit to students to take exams while sitting in their homes and trying unfair means otherwise there is no reason behind protesting for online exams. The logic that the whole semester study was conducted through online mode and now University administration was forcing them to appear in offline examination for 3rd and 5th Semester is sheer injustice and unacceptable in actual is weird because there is no difference in exams taken online or offline except there is a chance of students indulging in unfair means which actually should be unacceptable if the so-called students union is true to the cause of students. This is an attempt to misguide students and students should not fall prey to this under any circumstances because the reasons given by the students are absurd and clearly indicate that they want undue favours while attempting their exams which is uncalled for and should not be allowed at all.
