Dhian Singh further said that despite raising the issue numerous times at various forums, including ADC, DC, Div Com, former MLA, etc but nothing has been done to resolve the issue. “The aforesaid road link of 350 mt stretch which falls in between the area acquired for IIM. The alternative road which has been designated for locals is quite lengthy and unsafe, as a number of accidents have already taken place. In short, the decision of Govt agencies is not acceptable to us,” Singh said. The villagers urged LG to intervene into the matter for issuing necessary instructions to concerned authorities for resolving the issue on priority, as aforesaid road link is not less than a lifeline for locals.
