Following the violence in Birbhum district in West Bengal on Tuesday in which eight persons were killed, a political storm was triggered in the state. The opposition BJP is seeking imposition of President’s Rule in the state while the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) termed the demand as conspiracy to malign it.
