HIRANAGAR: District Youth Services of Sports (DYSS) Kathua organized kabaddi and volleyball matches to promote sports at Block level in Hiranagar.
A total of eight teams of Kabaddi and eight teams of volleyball participated.
The tournament was inaugurated by Ward 4 Councilor Sanjay Sharma.
Hiranagar defeated Keerian Gandaya Kathua by 2-1 in the opening volleyball match while Barnoti defeated Hiranagar in the Kabaddi. The Chief Guest encouraged both the teams of the blocks.
ZPEO Hiranagar Yog Raj Sharma, ZPEO Lakhanpur Pardeep Singh, I/C ZPEO Kathua Jia Lal and other field staff of District Kathua were present.
