JAMMU: Police on Monday arrested a man for making objectionable remarks in social media over anti-encroachment drive in Jammu. As per details, amid recent anti-encroachment drive launched by administration in Jammu, a man made some sensitive and objectionable remarks during an interview on social media. Taking note of the same, Jammu police has registered an FIR 93/22 under sections 153A, 505, 295A and arrested accused, who was identified as Mohd Yousaf Wani, son of Abdul Razaak Wani, resident of Lal Chowk, at present near Army Gate Sunjwan. Jammu police has appealed to every citizen to choose words wisely before sharing statements on social media platforms.
